These terms govern your use of DhiConcierge (“we”, “us”), a personal concierge based in Malé, Maldives. By messaging us, sending an enquiry, or asking us to arrange a service, you agree to them.
What we do
We arrange stays, transfers, dining, events, errands, tours and related help in the Maldives and in Sri Lanka. We are a concierge — we book and coordinate with hotels, guesthouses, operators and vendors on your behalf. We are not the hotel, airline, or venue unless we say otherwise in writing.
Enquiries and confirmation
Rates, availability and inclusions are always reconfirmed with the property or supplier at the time of enquiry. An advertised “from” price is a guide, not a guaranteed quote. A booking is confirmed only when we write to you that it is confirmed, including the rate, dates and inclusions.
Local and expat offers are for Maldivian nationals and valid work-permit holders. ID or work-permit verification may be required at booking and at check-in. If eligibility cannot be shown, the property may refuse the rate and we will tell you the alternatives.
Payment and cancellation
Payment terms, deposits and cancellation rules follow the supplier’s policy for that booking, which we will share with you before you commit. Fees charged by a hotel, airline, operator or venue are theirs. Any concierge fee we charge will be stated clearly in advance.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate names, dates, contact details and special requests.
- Check visas, permits, travel documents and entry rules for your trip.
- Arrive with the ID required by the property or operator.
- Read the confirmation we send before travelling.
Changes, delays and things outside our control
Weather, transfers, airline schedules, supplier overbooking and similar events can change a plan. We will help re-arrange where we can. We are not liable for a supplier’s delay, cancellation, quality of stay, or failure to perform, beyond passing on refunds or alternatives they actually provide.
Messages
We mainly work over WhatsApp and email. Please treat those threads as the record of what was asked and what was confirmed.
Liability
To the extent allowed by Maldivian law, our liability for any claim arising from a booking we arranged is limited to the concierge fee you paid us for that booking (or MVR 1,500 if there was no fee). This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Courts in Malé have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may still seek urgent relief elsewhere if needed.
